I knew that when my parents turned 80, I would need to create something special for them…but what? I started to collect some old photos, then more old photos and then, I found 8mm film reels my dad shot as a teenager.

These raised a lot of questions, so I decided to interview my parents. As I kept digging I realized I might have the makings of a story, that if woven together properly, could be a short film…maybe?

Still uncertain, I plowed forward and during this 6 month journey, I discovered as much about myself as I did about my parents.
